Brazil prosecutors get 4.3 thousand child labor reports a year

From 2014 to 2018, Brazilian labor prosecutors received over 21 thousand child labor reports—an average of 4.3 thousand a year.
The authorities have started 968 cases and issued 5,990 conduct adjustment terms, an administrative tool to prevent misconduct.
To bolster efforts against child labor, the Labor Prosecution Service launched a countrywide campaign Toda Criança é Nossa Criança – diga não ao trabalho infanil (“every child is our child – say no to child labor").
