Dollar had an accumulated growth rate of 28.8% in 2015. 
In another day of turmoil in financial markets, the US dollar had a new high and for the first time in 12 years, it hit over $ 3.40. The US currency rose R$ 0.054 (1.59%) and ended the month sold at R$ 3.425, the highest price since March 20, 2003 (R$ 3.478).
With the trading session on Friday (July 31), the dollar had a cumulative increase of 28.8% in 2015. In July alone, the dollar price rose 10.2%, the highest monthly rise since March, when the currency had risen 11.7%.
