Petrobras starts sale of onshore fields in Sergipe
Polo Carmópolis covers 11 concessions in the state

Petrobras unveiled today (Oct. 23) the teaser for the sale of all its shares in Polo Carmópolis, which includes 11 concession of onshore fields located in Brazil’s northeastern Sergipe state.
Included in the offer are 3 thousand operating oil wells, 17 oil treatment stations, a gas station in Carmópolis, approximately 350 km of pipes gas and oil pipes, the Aracaju Waterway Terminal (Tecarmo), the oil pipe Bonsucesso-Atalaia, a natural gas processing unit, and an oil processing unit.
This is yet another sale of assets by Petrobras, which has sought more and more to focus its resources on deep-water and ultra-deep-water oil production.
