According to the MEC, teachers from the schools chosen by the project will be able to access the AVAMEC platform, which brings together several online courses, and improve the quality of teaching, through classes on digital technologies in the educational process and training focused on the process of literacy.
According to the president of Fundação Banco do Brasil, Eveline Veloso Susin, the organization believes that structural changes in education will take place based on the social inclusion of citizens.
"The agreement with the MEC establishes a set of training actions for teachers and managers of 500 public schools located in regions with low or no connectivity in all regions of the country and that present high rates of age-grade distortion," he said.
The executive secretary of the MEC, Victor Godoy, stated that the agreement is an important step to help teachers and educational managers to have access to training content to improve the quality of education offered to students.
