Coach Tite said that even with the victory over Switzerland, Brazil´s national team felt the absence of striker Neymar, who did not play due to a right ankle injury. However, the coach highlighted that the team has other options to continue triumphing in the competition, as on Monday (Nov. 28) at Stadium 974, in Group G of the Qatar Cup.

"Of course, Neymar has different attributes. In a magic moment, he dribbles and clears [the situation]. He has that quality," the coach said at a press conference. "So [the team] does feel Neymar's absence. The power of the team does. But we have athletes who can do the job.”

According to Tite, the options that exist to replace significant absences, such as Neymar, are the result of the work done over the past four years in the Brazilian team. "There is a range of options because there has been a four-year process of construction. Who won today was the process, the four-year period of training athletes so that they can develop, have the naturalness, even the young ones."

Another subject mentioned at the press conference was the option to roster defender Éder Militão as the starter at right-back. The Real Madrid (Spain) player won the dispute against Daniel Alves to replace Danilo, who also did not play due to injury. "You have two players with different characteristics. One [Militão] is imposing, I usually say he has a turbo, and he can get to the front with a very strong marking consistency. The other [Dani] is an articulator, an excellent builder," he said. "That was the idea, to have a player to contain [Switzerland's] side players."
