Brasília to host Brazil Supercup

Title will be disputed on January 29 between Palmeiras and Flamengo

Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on Wednesday (Jan. 11)  announced that Brazil Supercup final between Palmeiras (Brazil Cup winner) and Flamengo (Brasileirão champion) will be played at Mané Garrincha stadium, in Brasilia, on January 29,  at 4 p.m. Brasília time.

Brazil Supercup marks the beginning of the Brazilian soccer season nationwide. As in this year, Flamengo has participated in all previous editions, having won in 2020 and in 2021. In 2022, Atlético-MG was the champion. Palmeiras, on the other hand, is competing for the title for the second time, after being the runner-up in 2020.
