Luisa Stefani advances to quarterfinals in doubles in Indian Wells

Brazilian Luisa Stefani and Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski advanced to the quarterfinals of the Indian Wells Masters 1000 doubles tournament in the USA, after beating Tuesday (Mar. 14) Chilean Alexa Guarachi and New Zealander Erin Routliffe by 2 sets to 0.

The next challenge for the duo in the competition is Japanese Miyu Kato and Indonesian Aldila Sutijiadi.

Brazil is also represented in the women's doubles event in the USA by Bia Haddad. Last Monday (Mar. 13), she and German Laura Siegemund beat Ukrainian Lyudmyla Kichenok and Latvian Jeļena Ostapenko by 2 sets to 1.

Now, Bia Haddad and Laura Siegemund will face the Swiss players Belinda Bencic and Jil Teichmann.
