Corinthians secured their place in the women's Copa Libertadores final by beating Internacional 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. The historic final will be against Palmeiras.
Corinthians' qualification was confirmed in a match played on Wednesday (Oct. 18) at the Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero in Cali, Colombia.
This will be the second all-Brazilian final in the history of the continental competition, following Corinthians' second victory in the Women's Libertadores in 2019 when they defeated Ferroviária 2-0 in the final in Ecuador.
The Women's Libertadores final will take place next Saturday (21) at 8:30 p.m. (Brasília time), at the Estadio Pascual Guerrero.
