On Monday afternoon (Nov. 6), coach Fernando Diniz called up the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina. The list features new additions, including midfielder Douglas Luiz and forwards Pepê, João Pedro, Endrick, and Paulinho, all of whom have been called up for the first time by the Brazilian coach.

"The games are difficult. Argentina are the reigning world champions, boasting one of the greatest players in history and other outstanding talents. Colombia has also emerged as a strong team on the world stage in recent decades, with several key players in European leagues. Playing in Barranquilla is always very challenging," Fernando Diniz noted.

The match against the Colombian national team is scheduled for November 16 in Barranquilla, marking the fifth round of qualifiers. Five days later, Brazil will face Argentina at Rio de Janeiro's Maracanã stadium.
