After touring the world, World Cup Trophy arrives in Brazil
The trophy will be put on display in all of Brazil’s 27 capital cities

The FIFA World Cup Trophy arrived Sunday (Apr. 21) in Rio de Janeiro, after visiting around 80 countries from September 2013 to April this year. The trophy will be put on display until April 25 at the Maracanã Stadium, where the World Cup final match is scheduled to be hosted on July 13.
After staying in Rio de Janeiro, the trophy will be taken to the other 26 capital cities of the country. Its tour will finish in the city of São Paulo, where the opening ceremony will be held, along with the first game, on June 12.
