Brazil biggest city, São Paulo is turning 466 years old

A survey conducted by Fundação Seade found that, upon turning 466 years old on January 25, the city of São Paulo will be home to an estimated population of 11,869,660 people.
In a hundred years, the population is likely to get six times as large, going from 2 million in 1950 to 12 million in 2050, as per forecasts from the study.
The sharpest increase in the number of inhabitants in São Paulo took place in the 1950’s—5.6 percent a year. After 1980, the face saw a continuous decline, and the tendency for the future is having the expansion turn negative sometime between 2040 and 2050.
Women
In São Paulo, women outnumber men. The city has 110 women for every 100 men. The age group with the highest number of people is 30–44 years old, with the population aged 15 and younger making up 19 percent of the total, and the portion 65 years old and above 11 percent.
