The Rádio Nacional do Alto Solimões , in Amazonas, celebrates 15 years on the air this Wednesday (15). The FM station brings information and culture to the peoples of the Amazon. Created in 2006, it is the newest of the radio stations of Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) . In its programming schedule, it offers options that mix local and national information, with a leading role in the region's production.

In these 15 years, Nacional do Alto Solimões has become a reference in the city of Tabatinga (AM), where it is located, and also in the Alto Solimões region. The FM station connects nine local municipalities and serves as an information and communication bridge for the urban population, indigenous peoples and traditional communities.

In radio programming, news from all over the country alternates with productions aimed at the population, such as the programs Alô Fronteira , Recados and Boa Noite, Solimões .

The EBC Radio Executive Manager, Luciano Seixas, highlights the importance of Nacional do Alto Solimões for the community due to the connection that the vehicle has with the region. Luciano celebrates the 15th anniversary of the channel. “It is a great joy to be able to celebrate another year of presence in the heart of the Amazon, broadcasting from Tabatinga, the programming spoken in Portuguese and with Brazilian music on the triple border Brazil/Colombia/Peru”.

Celebrations

The anniversary celebrations began on December 11, with the performance of the final show of the 5th Edition of the National Music Festival of Alto Solimões . The event brought together musical talents with unprecedented works, revealing singers, composers, instrumentalists and arrangers. Portuguese, Spanish and indigenous languages such as Tikuna set the tone for the songs submitted in 2021.

For the coordinator of Programming and Production of Rádio Nacional do Alto Solimões, Miss Lene Ferreira, the realization of the festival is an important cultural window for local artists. “It was gratifying to see the joy and emotion of the artists for having their songs played in our daily schedule and, for some of them, to perform for the first time, live, in a show.” The live schedules of Nacional do Alto Solimões and others EBC radios are accessible wherever you are. Everything is in the EBC Radios app. Quality music and information for the listener to access whenever they want, in a practical way, from their cell phone or tablet. And another advantage: the EBC Radios app allows the audio to continue playing while other actions are performed on the device or even with a blocked cell phone.

The app also gathers interviews, programs and news from the Rádios EBC website .

The EBC Radios app is available for Android and iOS platforms and can be downloaded for free. Android: https://lnkd.in/ebhDh2x IOS and https://apple.co/36icJ9R .
