Justice Moraes asks for confirmation of new X reps in Brazil

The company has announced the names of two lawyers

Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes has given social network X 24 hours to prove the legality of its new representation in Brazil.

The justice’s decision was made after the network informed the Supreme Court that lawyers André Zonaro Giacchetta and Sérgio Rosenthal will legally represent the company in the country.

Justice Moraes asked billionaire Elon Musk's social network to prove that the professionals will be its new representatives. The company will have to send him documents proving their registration with the Commercial Registry.

“There is no proof that X Brasil Internet LTDA has resumed its activities, nor that the constitution of its new legal representatives or even its new lawyers is in order,” the justice stated.
