Rousseff administration “poor” or “terrible” according to 68% of Brazilians
The administration of President Dilma Rousseff was rated as “poor” or “terrible” by by 68% of Brazilians in June. The figure is four percentage points above the 64% found in March, according to the CNI-IBOPE poll released Wednesday (July 1st) by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI).
The percentage of people who rate the government as “excellent” or “good” dropped from 12% to 9% in the period. According to 21%, the president's administration is “average”.
The poll also found that 83% disapprove and 15% approve of Rousseff's ruling style. In the previous survey in March, these percentages were 78% and 19%, respectively.
Moreover, 78% of Brazilians do not trust the president, as against 20% who do. In March, these rates were 74% and 24%, respectively.
The poll was carried out between June 18 and 21, with 2,002 respondents interviewed across 141 Brazilian municipalities. The margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
