Vice-president Michel Temer defends dialogue with Congress

Vice-president Michel Temer, who is also in charge of government's articulation, said on Tuesday (Aug. 4) that "there is no 'fiscal bomb'" in Congress. About projects that entail increase in public spending to be voted, he noted that the current voting schedule program is what remained of the previous legislative term. “It's not a 'bomb agenda'. Such things will be looked after very calmly," he mentioned.

Temer defended dialogue with Congress and noted that the parties chairmen and leaders of the governing coalition dined the day before (Aug. 3) with President Dilma Rousseff at the Palácio da Alvorada, the president's residence. They made the commitment to work to fiscal stability.

Among the voting that may cause problems to the government, there are the presidential vetoes to bills passed, including the salary adjustment of judiciary servers, with increase up to 78%.
