Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a note condemning the recent terrorist attack that killed at least 72 people in Pakistan. “The Brazilian government condemns in the strongest terms the attack in Lahore which left dozens of people dead and injured, many of whom were women and children,” the statement read.
“It was a cowardly, criminal action that was particularly vile because of its motives of religious intolerance and for targeting a recreation area attended by families enjoying their Easter holiday. The Brazilian government conveys its condolences to the affected families and reaffirms its solidarity to the government and people of Pakistan in their fight against terrorism,” the note concluded.
