The competitions Brazil will host this year were also covered by the agenda. In June and July, the country will receive the Conmebol Copa América, and in October FIFA U-17 World Cup. “These are major competitions that will bring Brazil to the world’s football map,” Infantino pointed out.

The country is also a candidate for hosting Women’s World Cup in 2023 and the city of Rio is running to receive the final of Conmebol Libertadores in 2020. The president of FIFA was joined by Conmebol head Alejandro Domínguez, and the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) Rogério Langanke Caboclo.
