The 6.175-kg trophy is made of solid 18-carat gold-Agência Brasil

The World Cup Trophy arrived this Thursday (May 29) in the city of São Paulo, where it is to be displayed until Sunday (Jun 8) at a shopping center located next to the Itaquera stadium. The trophy was presented to the public by Rivelino, former football star who played for Brazil in the 1970 World Cup, when the country was champion for the third time.

The 6.175-kg trophy is made of solid 18-carat gold and has been to 89 countries. In Brazil, its tour began on April 22, in Rio de Janeiro, and brought over 400 thousand visitors in the 26 capital cities covered by the itinerary.

At the exhibition, visitors can walk through a tunnel with projections and interactive attractions, a games room and an area with an exhibit about the history of the international competition.
