Demonstrators continue to occupy federal highways in at least seven Brazilian states. Even though federal highway police have managed to clear traffic in 876 locations, there were still at least 73 points of partial or complete obstruction at 10 am today (Nov. 3).
In Santa Catarina, the state with most cases, protesters who do not accept the outcome of the presidential elections continue preventing or limiting the circulation of vehicles on at least 27 sections of federal highways.
Blockades are also reported in Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraná, and Rondônia. Numbers have been updated frequently.
Last night (2), when President Jair Bolsonaro released a video asking protesters to clear federal highways, blockades had been notified across 16 states.
