A survey conducted by pollster Vox Populi on the vote support for the upcoming presidential runoff shows incumbent Dilma Rousseff (of the Workers' Party, PT) and Aécio Neves (of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, PSDB) statistically tied once again. The poll further indicates Rousseff as the favorite among 45% of electors, and Neves with 44% of support.

Disregarding undecided voters and spoiled and blank ballots, Rousseff's support rises to 51%, whereas Neves's mounts to 49%. Since the margin of error stands at plus or minus two percentage points, in reality the outcome represents a technical tie.

Rousseff is observed to have a better performance in the country's Northeast. Neves, in turn, holds the lead in the South and Southeast, and both presidential hopefuls have nearly the same support in the North and Central-West.

Two thousand voters from 147 cities throughout the country were heard on Saturday (11) and Sunday (12). The technical tie had already been reported in polls published by Datafolha and Ibope, last Friday (9).
