The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) reported to the Federal Police (PF) that former President Dilma Rousseff and Michel Temer are to be held “jointly and severally” responsible for the 2010 campaign accounts submitted to the electoral authorities.

Ex-Deputy Filippi Júnior, in charge of the accounts of the presidential campaign at the time, is also accountable, the court went on to declare.

Late in August, Janaína Gadelha, a Federal Police commissioner in the Federal District, requested that the TSE identify those whose duty it was to submit the 2010 accounts of Rousseff and Temer's ticket for scrutiny. Gadelha's goal was to have the information included in an open police inquiry this year.

As a response, the TSE submitted the file on the accounting for the ticket formed by Dilma Rousseff and Michel Temer. The document is dated November 30, 2010, and is signed by Rousseff, Temer, and Filippi Júnior.

The court mentioned a number of rules and resolutions with a view to informing the Federal Police that all three should be held responsible for the electoral accounts.
