The Dutch hospitality house for Rio 2016, named Holland Heineken House, will be unveiled on August 5, the day of the Olympic Games opening ceremony. The house will be located at Monte Líbano club, south Rio, and open from 11am to 1am.

The medal ceremony hall and a media center are being set up in the over 9,000-square meter club complex. Great Dutch champions will visit the house until the end of the Olympics on August 21.

The house, which will open daily to the public aged over 18 years old, can accommodate up to 4,000 guests per day and will charge for entry (pricing information not available yet). The design was created in the Netherlands.

According to the press office for the Holland Heineken House, the house will also feature internationally known DJ's. Besides watching the game broadcasts, guests will find a range of sport activities to engage in, including swimming, basketball, football five-a-side, and beach volleyball. Stand-up paddle lessons and boot camp (outdoor fitness training) will also be available on Ipanema Beach, as well as morning running groups.
